I am the owner and sole proprietor of Take Off & Soar. I have a degree in Business and Construction Management with over 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Brand Development.
My career started in college at an office answering the “Order Line” phone calls for a company that sold school curriculums. My managers quickly found out I needed more of a challenge and increased my workload. Within 8 months, I was answering all of the lines, assisting our 2 sister companies, and helping the advisors. I even trained the new managers. The joke around the office was the only thing I hadn’t done was held the ‘manager phone’.
Along the way I worked for a construction company which sparked my construction management degree. My job consisted of analytics and graphic design. I attended trade shows, created and ran reports, brought in new referrals, gave them a complete rebrand including their logo, helped restructure the accounting department, wrote multiple 40+ page award winning submissions, tested and implemented new software, and much more.
Looking through my experience, I’ve worked in sales, business development, event planning, became a marketing director, and spent 2.5 years on the road as a brand ambassador. I’ve restructured multiple companies to make their inside processes more efficient as well as beta tested and implemented numerous software and CRMs. I’ve done quick company startups, as well as long-term implementations and strategies. I am drawn to analytical and creative work and love a challenge.
I’ve created many brochures, ads, basic website and logos, logo refresh and rebrands, and any print work needed. This includes invitations, business cards, award packages, headers/footers, and graphics that require brand development, consistency, and logos.
